BikeHUD Adventure – The head-up display for bikers

Head-up displays (HUD in English:  Head-up display ) began to democratize in cars  and this is a technology that brings great comfort. I present to you today what may be the head-up display of tomorrow’s bikers: the BikeHUD Adventure.

BikeHUD Adventure – How it works

The functioning of the BikeHUD Adventure is very similar to the HUDs that we know. It is responsible for displaying information such as speed, gear engaged or various other important figures on a semi-transparent screen located in the pilot’s field of vision. This is for classic operation because we will also be able to connect cameras to view a video stream like rear view or blind spots for example.

This is not all, this BikeHUD adventure is also compatible with all motorcycles and all helmets. Indeed, to install the device you just have to attach the screen to your helmet and connect a controller to your motorcycle. The latter will send the information to the screen.

BikeSystems launched a Kickstarter late last year to raise € 150,000. Unfortunately, this fundraising campaign was unsuccessful. To get a first version of the system you had to pay around 310 €. Hope the project finds other sources of funding to continue! I let you enjoy the demonstration videos and you can find more information in the source links.
